The "Tête de la Draye"
This walk above Ailefroide has a magnificent panoramic view of the Vallouise valley, le Collet de Rascrouset, the Sélé, the Pelvoux and the Glacier Blanc. Excellent viewpoint, particularly for thePelvoux.
A walk following a footpath that is sometimes exposed. It is a short distance but has some steep sections.
Take the footpath on the right of the road. This leads into the undergrowth (south-east).
After roughly 500m, it heads north and comes close to the Pissette springs, then turns south-east again towards the Tête de la Draye.
For those who so wish, it is possible to continue to the Tête de la Roche du Fraysse (2264 m).
