Relatively easy family excursion, which is in the shade in the morning. Flocks spend the summer around the shepherd's hut in these magnificent pastures.
Take the footpath at the end of the Entre Les Aygues car park, to the left. At the first junction, take the footpath on the left (GR54) that leads to "l'Aup Martin pass" and crosses the footbridge over the Onde.
Follow the stepping stones in the bed of the Onde to link up to the footpath that follows the Selle stream. It leads to the pastoral hut next to the shelter for GR54 hikers trails (Tour of l'Oisans and the Écrins). The return trip is made by the same route. It is possible to continue towards l'Aup Martin pass, the highest point of the GR54 at an altitude of 2761 m.
